That is a poor label&nbsp;because is assumes that reality is a known. Reality is the undiscovered country and one man&rsquo;s magic is another&rsquo;s everyday experience.<\/p>\n<p>But Marquez was no doctrinaire schoolman&ndash;that God! His <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hundred-Solitude-Everymans-Classics-Contemporary\/dp\/B00BUWFET4\/ref=sr_1_10?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1398266048&amp;sr=1-10&amp;keywords=one+hundred+years+of+solitude\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>One Hundred Years of Solitude<\/em><\/a> is one of the great novels from the past century or any century.
