A safety razor cleans it in a few minutes. I took a print out of its frame and painted the back of the glass with a neutral tone. It&rsquo;s bigger than my largest wooden palette but it still fits&nbsp;in my butcher&rsquo;s tray&ndash;barely.&nbsp;The butcher&rsquo;s tray preserves colors longer than simply leaving the palette out overnight. It&rsquo;s not ideal because the colors still dry,&nbsp;but this simple method is effective enough.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are two unfinished small paintings.
