I didn’t get much painting done today but I did work on Heated Museum Discussion<\/em>. I wiped the entire surface with denatured alcohol before stating and the paint went on like butter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I spent most of the day getting my boat, the Betty Jane<\/em>, ready for winter. This is an annual event I don’t relish. The weather was fine but the lake was choppy so I didn’t take her out. She will be hauled out on the 29th.<\/p>\n

I also spent time getting my new studio ready. I’ve converted the garage–a large two-car size room with high ceilings–into a studio. After sealing the garage door, I added a heat vent and–just to make sure–bought a heater. The garage has two windows and OK light. I’ve used it all along as the shop were I stretch and prepare canvases. Today’s session might be the last in the old studio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
