I started the over-painting on The News <\/em>this morning. The News<\/em> is 44″ x 60.” I haven’t put brush to it for several weeks while I waited for it to dry. I do a lot of layers and bad things happen if new layers are put over still-wet ones. This is one reason I work on a lot of paintings simultaneously. I am never stalled waiting on a painting to dry. I have so many paintings in-hand and planned, I have years of work ahead of me. And i’m always starting new ones! I began the drawing on a 42″ 56″ painting this morning before working on The News<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Paintings are like children; I would never favor one of my children over another. Same with paintings, but I do like this one. Something about it tickles me.<\/p>\n
