This painting, Two Women at Playhouse Square<\/em> is 30″ x 36.” \u00a0As the name implies, it’s part of my Playhouse Square series. \u00a0I did the smaller study in neutral grays earlier this year. \u00a0The painting is still rough, but you can see its bones.<\/p>\n

Sculpture and other architectural touches fill t<\/span>he area around Cleveland’s\u00a0Playhouse Square, like the\u00a0pyramid\u00a0shapes in the background. \u00a0The area is delightful if you have a painter’s eye. \u00a0The light in Cleveland is very good, as it is in all northern cities. \u00a0That’s when it’s not overcast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
