This painting, Two Women at Playhouse Square<\/em> is 30″ x 36.”  As the name implies, it’s part of my Playhouse Square series.  I did the smaller study in neutral grays earlier this year.  The painting is still rough, but you can see its bones.<\/p>\n

Sculpture and other architectural touches fill t<\/span>he area around Cleveland’s Playhouse Square, like the pyramid shapes in the background.  The area is delightful if you have a painter’s eye.  The light in Cleveland is very good, as it is in all northern cities.  That’s when it’s not overcast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
