Today, I went back to the paintings in the Playhouse Square series. I spent a day or two working on other paintings and the drawing for a new painting (not in the series).  I don’t experiment much anymore with mediums or processes.  I tried a lot of different things before arriving where I am now, and I’m happy with my process.  One thing I still fiddle with is grounds–grounds for canvas.  The range for my trials is narrow because I’ve eliminated things that do not work.<\/p>\n
