Main Street #1<\/em> is almost done; I can smell it. I plan on taking my high school-age son and some of his friends down to Main Street in our town and take a lot of photos that I can use in my designs.  I like figures in front of the shop windows.  Our town is a tourist destination and the shops are filled with a lot of great stuff–painting-wise (like in Main Street #1<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Behind Main Street #1<\/em> you can see one of the paintings in the Playhouse Square series and two other canvases that I’m preparing. The gray-toned canvas is ready to go and after I finish the drawing on another painting I’m preparing, I’ll start drawing on it.  I intend to apply a gray-toned ground on the white (gesso) canvas tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
