In the bottom-right of the photo is a box of surgical gloves.  I buy them by the case.  My medium contains lead-based ingredients and turpentine, plus some paints, like the cadmiums, contain poisonous materials.  I never paint without the surgical gloves.  I also use them to protect my hands when I clean brushes.<\/p>\n

Just to the right of the gloves is my oil heater.  Soon, I’ll be using it daily to heat the studio.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
