This describes my afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I finished a painting this morning and celebrated with a piece of pumpkin pie leftover from Thanksgiving. Back in the studio, I started working on this large painting that is in mid-career. Not in the starting stage but nowhere near the finishing stage either. I had trouble shifting from the morning&rsquo;s finishing mode. Too stiff to adjust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"internal-linking-related-contents\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thomasparkerhudson.com\/wordpress\/2012\/10\/smooth-move-smooth-painting-surfaces\/\" class=\"template-2\"><span class=\"cta\">Read more<\/span><span class=\"postTitle\">Smooth Move&mdash;Smooth Painting Surfaces<\/span><\/a><\/div><p>I&rsquo;m crushed with work. All I can do is keep moving. Some days I push the wagon up the hill, other days I pull it. Occasionally, I step back and ask myself, &ldquo;You&rsquo;re starting yet another painting when you have this mountain of unfinished paintings?
