Lately, I’ve spent nearly all my time drawing. The accompanying photo shows three canvases prepared and ready for painting. The finished ink drawings were covered by a thin varnish-based ground. After the neutral-gray grounds are thoroughly dry (about a week), I will start painting them. The two larger paintings are 30″ x 40.”
