This is a photo of my new painting room. It has a lot of north-facing windows so it’s great in that regard, but the ceiling is a little low as I think you can tell from the photo. It hasn’t been cold enough this winter to start a fire in the fireplace.
The large painting in the center of the photo, “Oh, no!” is finished. I brought it out to take a photo for my gallery. There are two self-portraits in this photo. I did the one on the right when I was in my twenties. My wife paid for a nice frame when we were still living in New Jersey.
I did the self-portrait on the left several years later. Today I no longer wear a beard; if I did, it would be completely gray instead of just streaked with gray as in the painting.
