I’ve praised the small oil paint manufacturer, RGH, on my blog many times, despite encountering amateurish quality issues. The poor-quality tubes they use for their paint result in runny, leaky messes, as shown in the image.
RGH makes the all-important lead white so I put up with this crap. [Pro tip: buy their stuff in jars.]
However, I can no longer support them. I placed a paint order with them in mid-April. I soon received some of the paint, all except for a tube of cerulean blue. They responded to my email query by explaining that their supplier was slow to deliver, but that they were making the paint that day and would get it to me as soon as possible. That was a month ago, and I still haven’t received it. The original order was seven weeks ago. Worse still, they didn’t bother to respond to a request for an update. They don’t need my business, so it seems. OK, message received.
