The web host I’ve used for over 10 years, TMD Hosting, has been solid; they have good tech support. They updated their infrastructure, and I’m happy with the performance improvement that they provided gratis. Unfortunately, the process took longer than expected, and thomasparkerhudson.com (hudson.studio and turpentinediaries.com also point here) was down for several hours. Everything is ironed out now.
I’ve been working on an extensive overhaul of my site. I used to have a strong appetite for technical knowledge — I taught myself to program and whatnot — but lately my interest has waned. So the process is taking longer than I anticipated
