What have I been up to lately? Drawing. I’ve spent the last three days drawing. The shift from painting started when I began preparing drawings for a large (5′ x 6′) painting. Today, I’m drawing just for drawing; drawings that are not studies for painting.
The white-paper drawing is pen and ink. The other two are lead. I might use chalk on the dark paper drawing. I have a stash of good papers, including a large roll of watercolor paper that is also good for drawing.
