Brush graveyard

My brush graveyard is getting too big. I throw out most of my worn-out brushes. I’ve also been known to snap in two misbehaving brushes. Those I also throw out. But my favorites I inter into the graveyard after distinguished service.

I started pruning the graveyard to make room. Having a lot of brushes extends the lives of the individual brushes, but they still wear out. Lately, it seems like every session results in another dead brush. Anyway, while throwing out the dead brushes I discovered several that were still good enough to use. Why did I bury them in the first place? So I disinterred some of the ‘good enough’ brushes and put them back into my kit.

I hope I don regret it. I hate picking through my brushes looking for the right one.
