After working on a painting, I set it aside to dry for a day before taking it up again. But when a painting is large, I can work on it for several days in succession. Yesterday, I worked on On the Square and because of its size, 48″ x 60,” I was able to work on it today. After today, I am setting aside for a few days. There’s plenty of other paintings that need my attention!
In some ways, On the Square is the most representational of all my Playhouse Square paintings. The painting visible behind On the Square is also part of the series.
