Turpentine diaries 3/17/19

As I get older, my memory gets better and better–I remember less and less. 😉

One thing I am really good at it is forgetting. Forgetting is a most useful skill, I find.

I worked all day on a small painting and finally put down my brush from mental exhaustion. Then my eye caught this painting that had been ‘almost’ finished for a long time. Strictly speaking, I hadn’t forgotten it, but I hadn’t thought about it for a long time either.

So after a short break, I put it on the easel and finished it.
