I keep my oils in two cabinets. Here is the red drawer. I hate running out of things while I work–it’s a mania. Painting is like taking a journey and I don’t want the journey to end prematurely. That’s one reason I have a lot of paint.
I also test and review brands, brands that I rarely use but remain in my cabinets. In this photo, you can see some tubes of Van Gogh which I’ll likely never use, except the madder lake, which has utility.
My yellow drawer is nearly as filled as the red one. The white, blue, and green drawers are less filled. The least filled drawer is the dark drawer–blacks, browns, and related colors.
